"We recently experienced substantial damage to our home due to hail. A State Farm adjuster came out, assessed the damage and generated a claim. Because we have a small HELOC loan, we could not take advantage of the direct deposit feature and a paper check was mailed using standard postage. We never received that check. Courtney at our local agent’s office worked diligently to get the check reissued, which it was. A different adjuster promised that the new payment would be sent overnight, which it wasn’t. It was sent using standard postage. We have yet to receive either check. Courtney, along with help from Trish of the same office, again worked diligently to get yet a third payment generated. This one was hand delivered by a third State Farm adjuster. We have been a customer of State Farm for over 40 years and have always received prompt responses from our local agent’s office. For most of this time is has been an office owned by Kathy Kilo Peterson. In short, the outcome was successful, but the process was difficult requiring much effort on the part of Courtney and Trish. They did an excellent job getting the claim successfully resolved. Thank you Courtney and Trish."

"Well, We are so glad we chose to go with the Kilo agency! I have to commend Jessica, Courtney, Trish and Jordan the KKP agencies staff for expert handling of my account. They go above and beyond their call of duty straightening out a couple issue unrelated to anything KKPs employees did but they stayed on top of it and got it handled for us. Then I had a tree blow down in the last tornado storm and put holes in my roof among other things. They immediately called and got a contractor and roofer to put a temporary tarp over the holes along with a tree company to remove it and get rid of it the next day. "I was trying to login in to my State Farm acct so I could set up the Drive Safe in my new car. When I could t sign in I finally called Kathy’s office for help. Scott Matthew spent a very long time on the phone trying to work out my problem. He was extremely patient and kind as we attempted to solve my problem. When this didn’t work he offered to meet me to figure out how to fix my problem. With my phone in front of him he was able to quickly resolve my problem and even set up the Drive Safe on my husbands phone. Scott was very knowledgeable ,always polite and pleasant to work with."

"We have been State Farm customers for over 20 years, I don't why we stayed, this is our experience. We had several roofing contractors tell us our roof needed to be replaced due to hail and wind damage. Our first claim, roughly 4 or 5 years ago, they refused to pay anything, saying we would need to know the exact date each damage on the roof happened. So we let it go, so we started a new claim about 8 months ago after several storms and a roofing company said they would work with State Farm. State Farm sent out their contacting company to do the inspection, contractor told them yes we needed a new roof, State Farm didn't like it so they sent the same contractor out to inspect again and of course that contractor told them the same thing, that we needed a new roof, State Farm didn't like that answer so they sent their own inspector out who came to the conclusion that we only needed a partial fix and would only pay $3600 of the $11000 cost of the roof. So we had the roof replaced paid out of pocket the deductible and the rest that State Farm wouldn't cover. So about 4 months after getting the check from State Farm for $3600 and paying off the roofer, My wife received an email from State Farm telling us they were dropping us because of the claim of $3600 they paid. In my opinion State Farm is only ranked high as an insurance company because of the money they take in and not what they pay out or their service. They claim to be there like a good neighbor, i dont want a neighbor like State Farm because they are terrible. I would not recommend State Farm to anyone."
